Urgent Medical Complaint: Justin Harrell VADOC 1902762
Justin Harrell VADOC 1902762 self-immolated in early April 2025 at Red Onion State Prison to protest indefinite solitary confinement and medical neglect. Officers extinguished him in-cell, refused to transport him to a hospital, and placed him on suicide watch without psychiatric follow-up. On 19 April he began a hunger strike and on 24 May ingested razor blades and a surge protector—yet no independent medical evaluation has been provided.
