Join us for a day of action to demand the closure of two of Virginia’s most abusive prisons. Through speeches, marches, and collective solidarity, we’ll amplify the voices of incarcerated individuals and families fighting systemic torture and neglect.

Key Schedule Overview:

• 12:00 PM: Setup begins at the Ellipse.
• 1:00 PM: Rally starts with opening statements at the Ellipse.
• 1:20 PM: March to the White House Steps for a picket.
• 1:40 PM: Gather in Lafayette Park for testimonies.
• 2:00 PM: Return to the Ellipse for more statements.
• 3:15 PM: Break for water, rest, and networking.
• 4:00 PM: Final march to the White House Steps.
• 5:00 PM: Rally concludes; cleanup until 6:00 PM.

What to Know:

• 👟 Comfortable shoes required! We’ll walk between the Ellipse, White House Steps, and Lafayette Park multiple times.
• 🗣️ Testimonies: Hear directly from impacted families, advocates, and incarcerated individuals.
